FAB REVITALIZATION AND MODERNIZATION INITIATIVE

We here at FAB would like for our community to know that we are here to serve. We offer free services to the community with the hopes of establishing relationships necessary for our communities to flourish and thrive. In committing to these services, we stand strong in assuring that our actions promote our mission.

FAB LAWN CARE

In 2014, Fathers and Blessings, NFP (FAB), took to the streets of Dolton and started to landscape the lawns of vacant homes, lots, and buildings, all in an effort to make our community look better. We provided this service for free, using our own equipment and labor to beautify the communities we serve. This led to a contract with the Village of Dolton, where we were assigned over 400 properties to maintain.

This allowed FAB to be able to secure one of its ultimate goals, which is to provide employment and training to those in the community that need a "hand up." This contract allowed for FAB to employ a crew of young men from the community and provide them with landscape training, entrepreneurial experience, and gainful employment.

FAB also continues to go above and beyond, servicing not only their assigned properties through the Village of Dolton but also private homes and elderly clients as well.

Lawns would be cut twice a month at an extremely affordable rate, in the early morning hours. Bush trimming, cleanouts, and removal of debris services are also available.
