Fundraising
FAB currently has no state of government funding but we are determined to not let that stop us from providing necessary and innovative programming in our communities. Over the past two and a half years we have implemented The FAB House, The Fabulous Unique Resale Shop, FAB Community Beautification, Community Meetings, FAB Revitalization and Modernization Initiative, Youth Empowerment Synergy Mentoring Training Program, Youth Male Mentoring, and more! All of these programs are solely for the communities we serve. unfortunately, some of these communities do not have the means or the funds to offer these programs in the way that we have. Most are completely free for participants in efforts to afford people in blighted communities a chance at advancement. What We Do is strictly for the people!
Our fundraisers will help raise funds and awareness that will support all of the endeavors that FAB undertakes. By donating you will be furthering the advancement and sustaining the livelihood of veterans with disabilities, youth, and young men who need direction. Providing a place for job training, providing a second chance for non-violent offenders, bring innovative rehab technology to low-income areas, and support an organization whose MAIN goal is to unreservedly, pour back into the community.
The FAB Center for Academic Resources for Empowerment and Success (C.A.R.E.S.) will serve as a safe haven and training ground for members of the community.
This property will also be a template for our FAB Revitalization and Modernization Initiative. FAB has partnered with South Suburban Community College’s Building and Construction department to make the property a Go-Green, Eco-Friendly property. This will be the first of its kind in the area and will utilize revolutionary construction/rehab techniques that will not only make this property virtually self-sufficient but will a springboard for FAB to renovate other homes in the area to become eco-friendly.
